Sigma Systems Officially Becomes a Part of Hansen Technologies

Toronto, Canada – 2 June 2019 – Sigma Systems, the global leader in catalog-driven software, is pleased to announce that as of 1 June 2019, it has officially become a part of Hansen Technologies, a leader in billing, data management and customer care solutions for the Energy, Utilities, Pay-TV and Telecommunications industries. Hansen Technologies is a publicly traded company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX:HSN).

The acquisition by Hansen Technologies, previously announced on 1 May 2019, means an acceleration of Sigma Systems’s strategy and greater ability to scale. Sigma will see more opportunities for cross-selling, with the ability to take its award-winning Create-Sell-Deliver portfolio into new industry verticals worldwide.

The current leadership team continues to stay in place, led by Tim Spencer as CEO. Henceforth, the company will be known as Sigma Systems, a Hansen Technologies Company.

Tim Spencer, CEO, Sigma Systems, commented: “Today marks a major milestone in Sigma’s journey with the official closing of the acquisition by Hansen Technologies. As a new combined organization, we have deepened our pool of talent, expanded our expertise, and enhanced our capability to deliver our products, services and solutions on a global scale. With the further diversification of our customer base and opportunities for expansion into new industries, I look forward to the next phase of our exciting journey.”
