The Birch Hill team has achieved superior and consistent returns including a 20 percent cumulative average rate of EBITDA growth on actively employed capital since 1995. This record of success led to Birch Hill closing its third private equity fund, Birch Hill Equity Partners III, LP at the end of 2005. This fund was capped at $850 million, exceeding its original target of $650 million due to strong interest from both existing and new investors.
